This webinar will present the applications for using a fixed wing VTOL drone for mapping infrastructure assets in the energy industry. Comparisons will be made using a quad-copter vs a fixed wing platform discussing the pros/cons of both. Workflows for project setup, flying, image collection, image processing, and analytics will be presented.


Speaker Information:

Trent Casi
 
Trent has over 18 years of solutions experience in the geospatial industry. He has most recently supported enterprise geospatial solutions in energy, agriculture, surveying, government, and engineering.  He has worked extensively with aerial camera sensors and global geospatial data. He  served as past president and vice-president of the American Society of Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry for the Rocky Mountain Region.  Trent has worked with high resolution imagery collections with custom aerial and LiDAR sensors as well. Trent received a BS degree in remote sensing from the Pennsylvania State University. Trent resides in the geospatial alley hub of Denver, CO. 
 
 
Stephanie Lambert
 
Stephanie is one of Wingtra's first employees and in charge of sales operations. Before, she was responsible for Wingtra's global direct sales activities why she was able to develop strong ties with geospatial professionals around the world. Stephanie is also a member of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit and in charge of bringing drones into Swiss humanitarian relief aid. Stephanie is working from our HQ in Zurich, Switzerland.
